Troth before Thoth

Troth

I and thee both,

             Pledge our troth,

                        In truth,

                                    Before Thoth.

Let the banns be sung,

            Upon every tongue,

                        Let the banners be hung,

                                    Let the bands be brung.

For better or for worse,

            In health and in sickness;

                        In wealth and in poorness,

                                    In peace and in tumult.

In the freshness of spring,

            In the fullness of fall.

                        In the glory of summer,

                                    In the winter hour.

From the icy Northern Shore,

            To the balmy Southern shore,

                        From this newfound Eastward shore,

                                    To the wayward Westward shore.

This land was made for you and me.
